The phone is powered by Android version 10.
This means that it has a Settings function, where you can go into "Network & Internet" option.
Here you find the "Hotspot & tethering" option.
You can choose the "Wi-Fi hotspot" option.
It looks the option on all Android phones. It looks as thought it would work. I have not tried it because my SIM is only voice. There is no data on my SIM.
I am happy with my phone.
