Does the mainboard support Ryzen 3000 out-of-box? or is the corresponding BIOS update already installed? Or do you still have to do this manually? Thanks

It is not Ryzen 3000 compatible, you need to do a BIOS update.

This motherboard DOES support Ryzen 3000 with BIOS 4804. You *should* be able to flash a new BIOS without having a working CPU using the USB BIOS Flashback procedure (a feature of ASUS motherboards since 2012!). See https://www.asus.com/support...

Note that there are a few delicate steps: USB MUST be formatted in FAT16/32 NOT any other file system and it MUST be plugged to the correct port, and the file must have the correct name.
