Question about Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro Sport

The GPS is in the watch. I'm usually out and about without a mobile phone and then load the data onto my phone when I get home :-), I'm already a bit older. The mobile phone would also count the steps and the watch would also add them up. I haven't switched this off on the mobile phone yet, but I haven't looked for a way to do it. See the second sentence.
