Question about Alpine Ezi-Dab-Go

You are right, Switzerland has already allocated almost all frequencies and finding one is difficult. (especially in the 3-corner of Lake Constance). The transmitting power is about low, so that my station search does not find the set frequency itself.
It would be nice if stations could be saved. But I opted for the cheaper unit.....
It works. Better than without DAB+. But it would be better if the radio had AUX-IN or if the radio could be replaced.
I couldn't do that with my old Audi without spending even more money. So I live with the disadvantages :-)

The aux-in input on the radio's combination plug was still free. I found this out on the Internet (VW RNS510). So I retrofitted the aux-in socket before installing the EZi-DAB-Go. Otherwise, I could imagine that 87.5 MHz is still free in most cases. The following map provides information for the Zurich region: http://radiomap.eu/ch...

We have installed this solution on several vehicles and have not received any negative feedback. The question is how well your FM antenna works. I also use this privately and am very satisfied with it. Since the unit is usually mounted on or at the dashboard, the FM transmitter also works better than e.g. in the footwell. I appreciate the quick installation time without many cables.
