Question about Sony Ubp-X700

It already works. However, this is a 4k UHD Blue-Ray player which only makes sense with a corresponding 4k UHD/HDR TV and if you also want to watch 4k HDR Blue-Ray discs. For normal Blue-Ray and a Full-HD 3D TV, I would recommend the Sony BDP-S3700 or BDP-S6700.

Yes it definitely works, it's just that this player can do a lot more than just play Blue-Ray discs, it's networkable and has apps like Netflix and it's 4K capable, which is actually good because you're already at the highest standard. Anything below that, of course, will work as well.
