Does the device insurance also cover a torn wristband?
That's exactly what happened to my friend with almost the same model. But she bought it at Interdiscount, they replaced it under guarantee without any problems and because the same model was no longer available, she now has a newer, better version.
Unfortunately, the warranty does not cover physical damage. So you would have to have it repaired without a warranty.
