The speaker does not have a Bluetooth connection and is supplied with the audio signal via the subwoofer output from the car radio via the amplifier (also required - this is not an active speaker). Installing the amplifier might not be that easy, as power has to be taken directly from the car battery and the grounding has to be attached to the car body. The wiring is also relatively time-consuming, as you have to find a way from the engine compartment under the interior trim of the car. I would search for a few videos on YouTube to see what you have to do during installation.
