Does the backplane of the enclosure perform a so-called staggered spinup when booting or do all hard drives boot up simultaneously? This is particularly relevant for my choice of power supply unit.

Helpful answer

There is no staggered spin-up happening during boot in my case. All HDDs spin up simulationously when I start my NAS.

The hard drives are all energised at the same time, i.e. they all boot up simultaneously.
