Question about Sonos Beam

Does the Alexa app recognise the TV connected to the Beam as an independent device? So that I can control the TV via my Echo Dot using my Alexa routines? E.g. "Alexa - I'm going to sleep" and the TV is turned off by the command to the Echo via the Beam? Or is integration into routines not possible and to control the TV I have to speak to Alexa in the Beam?

Helpful answer

You can only give Alexa commands via the Sonos Beam if it is connected to the HDMI Arc input. This only works directly with the Beam, it won't work via an Echodot (as the HDMI Arc connection is required).

Example commands:
"Alexa, turn on the TV".
"Alexa, turn off the TV"
"Alexa, turn up the volume"
"Alexa, switch to mute"
