Does the adapter also work with the original headset (iPohne 7) ? I would also like to be able to make phone calls with it.

Yes, the plug also works with the original headset if it has a Lightning adapter. The function remains identical and the iPhone can be charged at the same time.

please note: there are 2 versions - a with twice lightning and b with lightning and audio. both versions are neutral, i.e.: everything that worked without the single adapter also works with this part.
