Does the adapter also work on other non-Lenovo laptops?
I have just connected it to a 15" Google Chromebook, from which I threw down their Chromium OS & ironed Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS over it. Works out of the box, connect it & it's good, that's how technology should be!
Yes, the adapter will work with any device as long as there is a driver for your operating system.
