In the meantime, no more boards should be sold that still have a bios version on them that doesn't support the 5000 Ryzen. And if you do: Bios update is also possible without a running system, there is a button for this (had to do this a few years ago for my 5800x)

Yes, the 5700X fits very well
on the board.
I have the same myself,
together with 32 GB RAM
and an RTX 4070ti...
Runs great!
