Does it also work on the MacBook? What exactly is the difference to "X9 for Mac"? (If you want to use both for Mac)
Is faster than an X9 thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 2. I use it on an iMac without any problems and even use it as a boot drive. Then it should also work with a MacBook. The resulting speed depends on the MacBook's connections.
Simply format with APFS.
