Does CD playback also work as a stand-alone device with a Bluetooth speaker?

To my knowledge, the Digitradio 143 V3 can only receive an audio stream via Bluetooth (e.g. audio player on a smartphone or tablet). It cannot send audio via Bluetooth and cannot broadcast to a Bluetooth speaker.
