Question about LG OLED48CX

It's the best PC monitor I've ever had. Fast, bright, accurate, lots of real estate for windows and great colours. However, you should be aware that it has a very annoying software function called ABL (Auto Brightness Limiter), which is supposed to protect the OLEDs in principle, but darkens the whole picture very annoyingly with large white elements (such as this website). This "function" cannot be switched off in the normal menu. However, you can buy a factory remote control for a few dollars and switch off ABL with it. I can't say to what extent this affects the warranty. I couldn't stand it for a fortnight with ABL and so I got rid of it. It's been running 10 hours a day for 4 months now (taskbar always in the same place, for example) and so far there's been no burn-in. I have switched many programmes to Dark Mode and also frequently use Dark Reader or similar in the browser. Text display can suffer somewhat with an older graphics card (if only Chroma 4-2-0 or 4-2-2 is possible). All in all, this thing is hot, I wouldn't give it away.
