Does anyone know if the Tile Mate 2020 tracker and the CR1632 battery it contains are allowed in the checked-in bag during a flight?

Yes, I clarified this question with the FOCA as part of my research for the corresponding Kassensturz article. The decisive factor is the lithium content of the battery or its size. If the lithium content (as is the case with CR1632) is less than 0.3g, then the tracker may also be carried in checked-in baggage. The same applies to batteries with less than 2.7 Wh.
