Question about Apple Watch Series 7

Does anyone have or has anyone had the problem that the Apple Watch suddenly stops charging? I've had it for exactly one month now and yesterday it just stopped charging. I connected the cable to the brick of the Macbook, the Macbook can be charged - so the brick still works. I've plugged in/unplugged the Apple Watch cable, tested the Brick on a different power outlet, restarted the Apple Watch force etc. I've tried almost everything and it just doesn't charge any more... The only thing I'm going to do now is let it run down until it runs out of battery and then try again - otherwise I'll claim warranty from Digitec. A bit disappointing and annoying. iOS Watch version should also be the latest - if I'm not mistaken I only updated the Watch a few days ago.... - the only thing I could do is maybe buy a second charger, maybe this one is defective.... no idea
