There will be a multiplayer mode. According to the trade press, however, this is not expected until 2022.

According to CDPR, there will be a multiplayer mode (a team of 40 people is working on it), but it is unclear to what extent. Therefore, it is not possible to say whether there will be a classic co-op mode.
