Does anyone have experience with this TC in terms of lifetime? My current one is having fan problems after 2 1/2 years because the power supply is overheating. Someone wrote the lifetime of the TC is 3 years!???

I've been running the TC for 6 years and it runs 365 days a year - I've never seen a more reliable device. I hardly notice that the TC is there. I don't consciously notice it any more because it doesn't make any noise.

MyTC has been running flawlessly for 4 years now.

I know someone who has had this product for 2 and a half years and he has never had any problems. It's possible that you've just had bad luck.
