Does anyone have experience with a 4K display? Does it work flawlessly? What frequency is supported? 60 or only 30 Hz?

Works perfectly with 60Hz. Of course only via the mini display port ;) I think the chipset even supports 3x4K@60Hz...

That's also a question of the monitor. I have an LG 31 inch Full 4K and I have to say that when I connect it directly to the Surface Book, the picture is nice, but every 15 seconds it cracks and flickers briefly. I then got the Surface Dock (3) and after that I didn't have Full 4K at first, but only just 3K+. After a few updates that came in automatically, I was able to go to Full 4K and am now very satisfied. Photoshop, Premiere, the Surface Book can do all that with the dock and a 4K at the highest level. The "hassle" from the beginning is over ;-) ...
