Question about Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2
Does anyone have an idea how to update the BIOS most cheaply? I'm really appalled that Gigabyte lets you run into the knife like this with the outdated BIOS. Are there still AMD loaner CPUs?
As you rightly say, there are mainboards where a BIOS update can be done via USB stick. Unfortunately, this board does not have this function and a BIOS update did not include a factory-compatible CPU according to this compatibility list: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboar...
The problem with not having the latest BIOS versions is unfortunately a problem with most current mainboards.
Yes, they still exist. But it is a big effort. It is better to buy a board with a backflash option, also called Q-Flash Plus at Gigabyte.
