Does anyone also have the problem that the switch gets too warm and thus interrupts the connections?

I have the same problem with the switch, from 27°C onwards not much runs with it. Unfortunately!

No, it runs perfectly. However, I also placed my device from the beginning so that the heat emission is not hindered and no other device can emit heat to the switch. The intelligence still sits in front of the monitor for me.

YES!!! Had.
The Netgear GS110MX-100PES switch interrupts connections especially if
- it is on top of another heat emitting device or
- another device is on top of it and obstructs the heat dissipation or
- the room temperature is above about 27°C.
In my eyes, the Netgear GS110MX-100PES falls far short of its device specifications in terms of environmental conditions. This model is UNUSABLE and just SHIT! - Digitec should immediately remove the GS110 devices from their range.

It's better to invest a little more from the start and go for the Netgear XS508M. I had no more problems with it. Only on hot summer days (30°C. room temperature) did the fan on the XS508M sometimes switch on (you can hardly hear it), most of the time it stays off. The network has always run reliably since I switched to the XS508M.
