The GS110MX and GS110EMX are equipped with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and two uplink 10-Gigabit/MultiGigabit ports (5-Speed), which provide connectivity options of 100-Megabit, 1-Gigabit, 2.5-Gigabit, 5-Gigabit, or 10-Gigabit. The two uplink ports automatically detect the speed required by the connected device and provide it accordingly. Additionally, these two multi-speed switch ports can be connected using standard Cat5E Ethernet cables without the need to upgrade to Cat6 cabling. This saves costs and effort in wiring.

The GS110MX and GS110EMX offer flexible mounting options. They can be mounted in a rack, on a wall, or used as a desktop switch. Furthermore, the compact and fanless design makes the GS110MX and GS110EMX ideal for any home or business environment.
