Question about Philips Hue Play base

The lamp reacts to music, films and video games and the device doesn't matter :-)

According to several reports from the net, it also sounds like Lbiswitzerland is right.

It works if you can install the Hue Sync app on your TV or PC AND you have at least one Hue lamp AND a Hue Bridge. Additionally you need the normal Philips Hue App to manage everything.

In my eyes, the question was meant to ask whether the lamp also works with other TVs or only with Philips. My answer to this was that the device does not matter. It can also be a Samsung TV or an Asus PC, and much more. If I was wrong, I apologise.
Of course, you also need the other components, such as the bridge and certainly an internet connection, for the whole thing to work, you're right :)
