Should not be a problem. A fan controller is included with the 3-pack of these fans. It is advisable to connect the fan cable for power to the CPU fan port on the mainboard and not to the fan controller. However, the cable for the light control should then be connected to the fan controller accordingly so that the light effects can be controlled cleanly via the Lian Li software.
