Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II
Do other owners of the GigaWorks T40 Series II also have the problem that the speakers go into a kind of "standby"? If no sound is played for a longer period of time, the blue light on the volume control goes off. If, for example, a mail / chat or similar sound signal comes in, which only makes 1x bing, the blue light comes on, but the sound is logically not heard. With the next Bing, everything is output normally. I find this a real NoGo. Speaker with perceived standby function? or does my pair of speakers simply have a bug?
It's the same with mine. I bought it 10 years ago or so. After standby, the device needs 1-2 seconds to start up.
is also the case with mine. I once heard that this must be according to an EU regulation to save electricity, that the loudspeaker must be in standby. The speaker reacts too slowly during sound playback, especially when it is short. Even with videos, for example, it takes a few seconds for sound to come. This is also a NoGo.
