Do I have to connect it to the Sunrise modem or can I connect it directly?
According to the manufacturer's instructions, this router does not have a built-in modem, so you would have to connect it to the supplier's router via LAN. It is also important to mention that the WLAN from the supplier device is either deactivated or, if possible, set to bridge mode. Otherwise you will have 2 WLAN networks.
