DIN format A6 is probably wrong, isn't it? The S model says the same thing. But to my question; is the surface of the Wacom a little rough, almost like paper, or is it smooth like tablets?
The dimensions 20x26.5cm are correct, of which approx. 21.5x14cm is usable pen surface. Compared to the (old) Inutos, the surface is rather rough, paper-like. If you want a tablet with as small a total area as possible but a large usable area as a mouse replacement, it's great. If you want to use it as an illustration tool, I would advise against it: Intuos Pro's are more precise and you don't fall over the edge because they have a border area around the drawing surface.
The intuos m is approx. 20x26.5 cm. I wouldn't necessarily describe the surface as rough, but it certainly has more of a paper-like structure. I am really happy with it! I would recommend ordering a bluetooth transmitter if you want to connect it to a desktop.
