This is not a question, but simply for information: of course, the child should not have the same phone number as a parent, which is why you cannot simply add a multidevice option to an existing mobile subscription (they always have the same number!). So you have to take out a completely new subscription. At digitec it costs 25 per month, but the best option seems to be the Swisscom subscription "InOne Mobile Care", which only costs 9 (slow internet, but certainly enough for this children's watch): https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/abos-tarife/mobile/abo-uebersicht/inone-mobile-care.html , the 9 subscription is only available if you also buy the watch from Swisscom.

Although we have two mobile subscriptions with Swisscom, it was not possible to buy the inOne Mobile Care for 9.90/month for the watch. Swisscom only expires this subscription if you also buy the watch there. Is this possibly the reason why so many watches are returned (there are corresponding offers here)? In any case, we have now solved the problem by ordering a Swiss 1GB subscription from UPC/Sunrise.

It's a pity that Swisscom is not flexible here. This is how you lose customers when they are 8 years old.

I think TalkTalk Junior is a better alternative. You have 2G data per month and it also works in Europe without additional charges, as long as you only make video calls.
So if it should be possible to visit Lego Land or the Europapark again, the watch also works there.
The Digitec iot data flat subscriptions with 10 MBit/s also work if you only use video calls, but only in Switzerland at no extra

charge.
