Dear Community Yesterday I received the new LG device, so I got rid of my Samsung UE55HU8280 and installed the new box. Unfortunately, I found that the picture with the Swisscom TV UHD box looks catastrophic, SD level. The box is connected to the TV with an HDMI 2.0 cable and to the Internet via LAN (500 line). I haven't changed anything on the box (UHD and HDR is activated), the picture with the Samsung is still razor sharp. I have already tried X settings on the LG TV and it doesn't get any better. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks in advance for any tips. Greetings

Hello

Good question. I can only guess at the moment. In general: Just because the box supports 4K does not necessarily mean that 4K is always displayed. I don't have the TV UHD box from Swisscom myself. Is it guaranteed that it will always receive a picture in 4K? If it only receives 1080p (HD) or 1920p (Full HD), then the picture is too small on the 4K display (then it has to draw the pixels larger and then the picture is scaled) and would be optimal on an HD or Full HD TV. Does the Samsung also support 4K? If not, then the programme is very poor in HD or Full HD quality. I also just bought the LG CX, but I haven't had much chance to test it and use it yet.

The first thing you could do is find out, possibly with the help of Swisscom, whether the service really does broadcast 4K.
If you can rule this out, then try a different cable (if available). Otherwise, I would read the manual or ask the manufacturer directly.
