CPU 14nm or 10nm (why not 7nm, like AMD) ?
The built-in i5 is manufactured in 10nm.
Intel cannot yet do 7nm, which is why it is not yet in the devices. But you don't "need" that, a notebook has too little cooling anyway to really benefit from (even more) performance, and Intel CPUs and especially chipsets are much more power-efficient than equivalent AMD hardware.
Example? Despite the 3rd generation Ryzen, my PC at home consumes over 50 watts at idle. My old Intel i7 4790k (4th generation) needed just under 20 watts.
