Cannot install the system. Cancels the installation process and displays a frozen screen with "GRUNDIG" (flashing). Unplugging the mains plug does not help either.

I am not aware of the specific problem. I would reset it to the factory settings and then update the software.

I can't help specifically. Perhaps there is still a reset button? I have two devices. I've had problems with the software/display on both of them several times. However, pulling the plug (wait a short time) fixed it.
