Problem-free! I also have the Apple Smart Battery Case on my iPhone X. If you look a little closer at the lens on the back of the iPhone XS, you can see that the camera has been slightly shifted by 0...mm. Otherwise go to Youtube and type in the following (Tested: Using the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case with iPhone X) and you can get a better picture. Hope I could help. LG
According to the Apple page, only the XS model is mentioned. I therefore suspect that it does not go together with the X.
