Can you use the gimbal without the app? With the new Huawei P30 Pro, the zoom option in the DJI app is certainly not available. General fine-tuning is not possible this way.

Use Yes, Optimal? Maybe not. The Dji Osmo Mobile 2 has been used many times with the P20. I suspect that the result with the P30 will also be great. Whether every little detail can be teased out, I doubt.
