Can you load a route with wifi and then drive without a permanent connection? Or can you only use it in countries where you have a data plan?

If the app has not been used for some time then it needs a short data connection. I guess to get 'life' data.
The app always shows only the north-oriented 2D map. It does not know a driving view.
The GPS module of the smartphone must be switched on. This is not necessary for use with the VIO device itself, as it has an internal GPS module."
