Question about Blackmagic URSA Mini 4K (EF)
Can you easily mount a battery on the camera or do you have to buy the URSA V-Mount plate separately? If so, do I have to wire the plate or just attach it?

You can also use the Ursa mini with the supplied power cable, but if you want to be mobile and use a battery, you need the V-Mount plate. To attach it, unscrew a small plate at the back of the Ursa mini, under which the power connection is located. Then comes the more complicated part. To attach the V-Mount plate you need American screws with a special thread. I had to go to a building materials shop and get the four screws.
This shows that the Ursa mini is a professional camera and not just a consumer camera that you can switch on and use. It requires a lot of additional equipment and know-how. But once you've got all that behind you, the Ursa mini is a phenomenal camera that is well worth the effort.
If you're up for it, I encourage you to buy it, as I'm really pleased with the Ursa mini.
