Question about ASUS Sbw-06d2x-U

Blu Ray reader and player are two different things.
The part only has the physical requirements to read data from a Blu Ray. For data and especially games, this is perfect. But the device does not come with any player software, as it is integrated in pure Blu Ray players with HDMI connection.
To watch on the notebook, you need software like PowerDVD or something. They will also play films from Blu Rays....
