The HUE gradient is not dependent on the TV. The HUE sync box is required. All players are connected to the syncbox via HDMI and the syncbox is connected to the TV via HDMI OUT. The syncbox then sends the picture information to the Gradient which reproduces the colours to match the picture. Programmes that are watched directly on the TV (e.g. Smart TV Apps such as Netflix Disney + etc.) are not recognised because they do not reach the syncbox via HDMI. I hope it's not written in too complicated a way 😅
