Can Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-HD work as a repeater only?

Works as a bridge and repeater with a network cable. Therefore, I think the previous answer is wrong. Without a cable, it is a pure repeater (wireless uplink). But with the latest firmware, the uplink just doesn't work.
