Can this watch be used well with an iPhone? Are messages from the iPhone (e.g. WhatsApp, SMS, calls, ...) displayed?

I sent the watch back because I was unable to open an account on the Mi Fitness app with my iPhone. This meant that I could not initialise the watch. I tried countless times and could not open an account from my PC.
