Question about Akai Professional Bt500
Can this record player be used without an amplifier/boxes? Can you also play old records with it?
The record player has an integrated amplifier which can be deactivated if you want to use your own amplifier. It is also possible to connect headphones directly or to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker.
Old records: you can play any vinyl record, but shellac records that run at 78 rpm will not work, firstly because the turntable does not support 78 rpm, and secondly because shellac records require a much wider needle.
