Yes, I always have the charger on the battery when I'm not using the car. I've had a charger like this before. Unfortunately, it fell over. So my battery is 7 years old. No problems at all. Greetings Peter

Yes, no problem, but please note: The EFP tolerates a maximum charging voltage of 14.4V and therefore the battery type on the CT5 must be set to "normal" and not to AGM.
