Question about Dätwyler Network cable

In principle, any cable is watertight and can be used outdoors as long as it is protected in a blue tube (sheath). It is the terminations of the cable that will determine whether or not the whole is watertight: the use of a watertight box with a cable gland for the cable to enter the box. Possibly a watertight cover if the cable is not permanently connected.
