Hello, in the Wifi main menu there is a sub-item Mesh. As far as I know, mesh is largely manufacturer-dependent, i.e. you cannot mix routers / extenders from different manufacturers. This is also suggested by the ConfigUi in the router. It says:
'Zyxel MESH facilitates your WiFi client devices to roam between Gateway and AP/Extender seamlessly, and provide you a whole home coverage solution'.
I would assume that you can only build a Wifi Mesh with Zyxel devices. There is something called EasyMesh, which is also supposed to work across manufacturers, it's also mentioned in passing on the Zyxel product page, but I wouldn't bet on it. In the meantime, I no longer use the Wifi part of the router, as the router is now in the technical room and the Wifi is too strongly attenuated there.
