Can the window kit also be used for our pivot windows or only for sliding windows?

You have to come up with something anyway, it's more of a coincidence that the window kit fits somewhere. I fitted a board in the roller shutter rails for easy assembly and disassembly.

Hardly anyone in Europe has sliding windows, but in other regions they are common. A good solution would be a plexiglass pane that you can clamp into the window frame when the window is open (there are YouTube instructions on how to do this). A hole is then made in the Plexiglas for the exhaust hose. Since with Mono Block air conditioners you unfortunately have to open a window at another corner (the air that goes out has to come back in), it is an advantage if you can let the supply air in on the weather side, since not so much warm air flows in from there. To be able to distribute the cool air from the air conditioner very well in the room, I would recommend a Vornade room air circulator, because it can transport the cool air from the air conditioner up to 25 m away and circulate it in the room.
