The clamp is 5cm high, the edges about 0.5 cm wide. If the webcam is to be clipped on, this should work well, even without any handicraft :) The clamp itself can be turned in any direction thanks to the ball joint and the three rods are flexible anyway. I also like the fact that the part is clamped to the desk itself and I don't need to mount it on the wall (and still have space on the desk). I mainly wanted the light and so far I use the laptop camera, but webcam is actually much smarter.

Yes, with manual skills. A clamp is supplied, not a tripod screw. Therefore, with a strut and insulating tape, (almost) everything is possible. I also use the light with my smartphone (recording) and camera (online meetings).
