Can the router also be used for Sunrise customers? Is it possible for the router to have the ISP automatically set up the configuration for Internet access, as is the case with the Sunrise Box, for example?

Works fine for me with sunrise. You only have to solve the telephone problem differently, if required. I briefly connected a fritzbox and had it configured by sunrise and made a backup. Zyxel router connected and configured by sunrise. Fritzbox reset and after the router with config internet over lan1. Backup only for telephony.
