I've had this laptop for 2 weeks, here's my experience (for now, in advance: the price is now reduced again to 1'999. Get it, you won't regret it. It is a super machine. High quality. Works great with external monitors. You won't get 16GB RTX 3080 for 1'999 anywhere or only rarely). Now to the colours: You can set and combine any colour you want using iCUE software, which comes installed. Enclosure is also possible. However, you need to know: when you switch on and off, the pre-programmed colour combination from Lenovo takes over. iCUE only becomes active when the laptop has finished booting up and you have logged in. The last profile is adopted. Lenovo's pre-programmed lighting has 6 combinations: 1) Rainbow = as if a unicorn had thrown up 2) Ice-blue = all keys and casing are ice-blue 3) Ripple effect: all off, individual keys you press light up with a ripple effect 4) Rain = individual keys light up randomly, case included 5) key illumination is off and reacts to sound from videos (something like that), 6) All is off and there is an effect where I can't remember what it is. If the colour orgy bothers you, there are a few options: With the pre-installed combinations, the laptop remembers which one you had last and turns it on when you switch it on/off. Personally, I choose No. 2, but you can also set the intensity to 0 and then nothing lights up when you switch on/off. You can also physically disconnect the case lighting (which I don't really like, but I put up with because the machine is so great) from the mainboard. There are a few flex cables that you can unplug. If you install a 2nd SSD, you can do that. But with caution. I think there are 2xFlex that you can see relatively easily, left and right of the SSD memory cards. Maybe there are more flex cables to unplug (haven't looked any further). Another tip: a matching bag is the Tomtoc Versatile A42 (I recommend the colour blue ;-) ). The laptop is then very well protected for transport.
