Can the RGB fans also be controlled/synchronised (colours) via Aura when installing a corresponding ASUS mainboard (e.g. Strix z270 Gaming)?

No is not possible Aura work with 12V and the LED's of the fans with 5V

The mainboard has RGB control and so do the fans. Accordingly, it would be possible. Tip in advance: pay attention to the cabling, otherwise it won't close well.
