Can the joystick for the C64 from Retro Games also be connected to the A500? You don't want to play the games with a gamepad, which didn't even exist back then.
No one I know had a mouse pad. CD32 distribution was also rather poor, since shortly before the Commodore bankruptcy. Why they put it on the A500 Mini, I don't know. A normal USB Competition Pro works on THE C64 MAXI, so it should also work on THE A500. The other additional keys are only there to return to the menu (Caroussel) on THE64. Current USB-Competition Pro have only 2 different keys, but most Amiga games don't need or support this. An additional text (footnote) on the homepage suggests that games only work as WHDload version. So quasi the "hard disk version". Let's see whether normal ADF is supported or not.
Yes, you want to play the games with a gamepad. The CD32 had one and also on the computers you could connect the Mega Drive gamepad, for example, and then had two different buttons available, which was supported in some games.
